I lived off these powerballs in the months after my daughter was born. Powerballs are great to have on hand when you need a quick, healthy and delicious snack. The combination of healthy fats and protein will keep your blood sugar and energy levels steady, rather than leaving you with an energy crash and more cravings.

INGREDIENTS:
– 1/2 cup hemp hearts
– 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (raw, unsalted)
– 1/2 cup sunflower seeds (raw, unsalted)
– 1 cup oats
– 2 tbsp cacao powder
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1 cup sunflower seed butter (or another nut butter such as peanut butter or almond butter)
– 1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional but suggested!)

METHOD
In a large bowl mix dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients to the same bowl and mix until well combined. Using your hands, roll into balls. If the mixture is too wet, add a few more oats. If too dry, add a dash of coconut oil to soften. Store in fridge or freezer and enjoy!
